“Unrealistic Scenes” by Nathan Spotts
I had a dream a couple nights ago, where everything was just perfect. Nothing getting in the way of my life, everything was how I would like it to be. Grades were all A’s, everything was neat, I was with my greatest friends just having fun being ourselves, the greatest food in the world was the cheapest in the world, and the world was just shining bright. I thought this was in real life, and this dream also was in color. Everything was shining, everybody was having fun, it was just the greatest thing ever, and to make matters much better, the girl of my dreams fell asleep in my lap as we were both looking at shapes of the clouds. I had to carry her over to this bench which i spread my jacket over, and placed her there, and i sat beside her, just watching her sleep. My friends were insisting on me playing some improv games with them, but i didn’t want to wake this sleeping beauty of mine. As she slept, somehow my confidence rose up faster than Hawkeye’s arrow. She awoke, as the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen, and I asked her to be my girlfriend, she said yes, and we hugged each other tightly, and nothing could be more perfect than that dream.
